This is designed to take undisturbed samples from very soft and preferably very wet soils.

It is made from a tapered stainless steel half-tube that is pushed into the soil, turned to cut the core and then withdrawn containing the "plug" of soil.

It can be used on the surface or down an augered hole but resampling is limited by the hole collapsing.

The standard size is 50mm OD (optional 60 or 73 OD) at the top by whatever length suits your application.

Connections for T-handles or Extension Rods are by either of our standard coarse thread, or a hex fitting with a pin.

Options: Sizes (60mm or 73mm), Length; Thread or Hex connection.
